Patrick Gillihan MS, DPM is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon with privileges at Mountain Vista Medical Center, Tempe Saint Luke’s and Phoenix Saint Luke’s.
Dr. Gillihan is a licensed Foot and Ankle Surgeon in the State of Arizona. He attended Albany University for his undergraduate education in Biochemistry and Binghamton University for his masters in science of Biochemistry and Cell Molecular Biology degree. Subsequently, Dr. Gillihan graduated with a doctorate degree from Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed his residency at Yale Newhaven Hospital at Bridgeport, CT with rearfoot and ankle reconstruction certificate. There was a heavy emphasis in wound care and reconstruction of the diabetic foot. He was chief resident of the program his last year. Dr. Gillihan is currently a rearfoot and ankle surgeon whose work currently focuses on:

Dr. Gillihan enjoys educating his patients about their foot and ankle problems in conservative and as well as surgical treatment options. He believes that the better educated a patient is about their health, the better overall outcome and lifestyle will be. He believes in the team approach for patient care and management with all his patients. He looks forward to becoming one of the great state of Arizona’s Podiatric surgeon and to treat and manage the great people that reside here.
Dr. Gillihan moved to Arizona in 2018 and has a wife and four children. When not working, he enjoys spending time biking and hiking with his family in the sunshine. Cooking and baking are his second passions. He enjoys travels to Flagstaff and other areas of the great state of Arizona.
I had Dr. Gillihan operate on a couple of hammer toes to stop from getting all the weight. Very sucessful anf healed quickly. I would trust him to explain and operate or check any foot problems. He seemed as much a friend as my Doctor.
